Quality checks before you accept delivery
- Sit with feet flat: thighs should be level and knees at about 90°.
- Office chairs: check the gas lift has a certified class (Class 3 or 4) and a 5-star base.
- Rock the chair side to side — joints should not creak or shift.
- Armrests should let your shoulders stay relaxed.
- Mesh should be taut, with no sagging on the seat.
- Castors should suit your floor — soft PU castors for tiles and wood.

- For dining, allow 24 inches of table edge per chair.
- Bar stools: 24–26 inch seat for a 36 inch kitchen counter, 29–31 inch for a 42 inch bar.
- For desk work, set the chair so elbows rest at desk height.
- Cane and rattan need occasional light oiling to stay supple.
