Quality checks before you accept delivery
- Sit on it for five minutes — seat foam should spring back fully when you stand.
- Lift one corner: a sturdy frame barely twists. Wobble means weak joints.
- Ask the foam density: 32–40 for seats is good; below 28 sags quickly.
- Check the frame wood and treatment — kiln-dried and termite-treated.
- Upholstery should have straight seams, no loose threads and zips that open for cleaning.
- Check fabric rub count (martindale) — 20,000+ for daily family use.

- Measure the door, lift and staircase turns before ordering — sofas fail at entrances, not rooms.
- Seat depth of 21–24 inches suits most people; deeper sofas need extra cushions.
- Leave 18 inches between sofa and coffee table for legroom.
- Choose removable, washable covers in homes with kids or pets.
- Place sofas away from direct afternoon sun; it fades fabric and cracks leatherette.
